Description: Full time lecturer position for one-year to teach: a) lower division undergraduate lecture/laboratory Plant biology course to majors, b) other possible courses in the major depending on area of expertise, and c) possible lecture and lab courses in general education for non-science majors.
Qualifications: a) Ph.D. in Biology or related field (expertise in plant biology required); b) experience in teaching courses in plant biology; c) commitment to a quality undergraduate liberal arts education and a biology program that emphasizes student research projects involving problem solving, data analysis, and writing.
Background Check: A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
