Job/Department Summary:

Working independently, under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Administration, the Administrative Analyst/Specialist provides a wide range of specialized administrative responsibilities in support of University Advancement's financial and administrative operations. This includes, but is not limited to, serving as the division's administrative liaison to the University's Human Resources Service Center, Budget and Financial Services Office, the University Foundation Board of Governors, and Research Foundation's Accounting Services. Additionally, duties include overseeing the unit's budget, preparing financial reports and projections, reconciling revenue and expense, including grant and foundation accounts, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, as well as planning and facilitating events.

Mandatory Vaccinations:

The CSU requires faculty, staff, and students who are accessing campus facilities to be fully immunized against COVID-19 or have received a medical or religious exemption. Selected candidates should be prepared to comply with this requirement.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:

  • Bilingual.
  • Recent, relevant experience managing complex budgets with multiple reporting units and funding sources.
  • Advanced Excel skills including analysis functions, Pivot, queries, tables and macros.
  • Recent experience with QB, cdd.net or similar programs to solve complex accounting problems.
  • Experience with administrative management/supervision.
  • Recent, relevant experience independently performing duties as a business analyst or program administrator.
  • Demonstrate experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within and outside the workgroup.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Required Education and Experience:

The knowledge, skills and abilities listed above would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and two years of full-time administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs.

Time Base: Full-time

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00-5:30.

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,897 - $7,051 per month / $46,764 - $84,612 annually (Initial placement within the salary range for new employees is contingent upon education and experience).

This position qualifies for benefits including tuition fee waiver (if eligible).
