THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The next Deputy Administrative Officer of Human Resources will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of self-awareness and value people over process. The ability to establish, maintain, and foster positive working relationships with all employees, the Board of Directors, bargaining units, and other stakeholders is a must. The individual must be politically astute, open-minded and capable of creating and establishing key partnerships of value to the organization with other public agencies and non-profits. They will be invested in being an advisor and support system to peers, staff, executive management, and elected officials. Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree and six years of increasingly responsible administrative, managerial or professional experience in a field related to the assignment and in the public sector, water or related industry within the most recent ten years, with four of the six years in management/supervisory authority, is expected. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
