SEI is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the recruitment function for all of SEI's programs, including Climate Corps, Climate Corps Education Outside , Energize Careers, and Energize Colleges. This individual will play a key role in the sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates for these programs. The Recruiting Coordinator will help lead the development of effective and efficient recruiting processes that result in successful fellow and partner engagement and work with the People Resources Department on a variety of HR projects as they relate to programs. This is a full-time position that involves working in our San Rafael, CA office on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Director of Recruiting in recording, developing, and refining recruiting processes for all of SEI's sustainability programs and core staff
- Evaluate efforts and results to improve efficiency, HR compliance, and effectiveness
- Provide recruitment support to programs for Climate Corps fellows, Energize Colleges interns, and Energize Careers participants
- Learn, understand, and build on SEI's recruiting module within the Paylocity platform
- Compose/edit job postings and interview process documents
- Support with sourcing candidates by using databases and social media
- Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters and sort applications with a lens for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Use recruiting tools such as tests and assignments to assess candidates' skills
- Conduct video, phone and/or in-person interviews for SEI programs
- Provide a short list of qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Help the programs and hiring teams with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Track job site spending and record expenses in expense reports
- ATS maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods and work with the Associate Director of Recruiting to determine ways to improve our hiring processes
- Attend job fairs and careers events
- Work with Marketing & Communications to promote the SEI employer brand, SEI programs, and job openings
- Work with the People Resources Team on other programmatic HR projects

- A starting wage of $32.00 an hour

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiter
- Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
- Experience employing strategies for attracting a diverse candidate pool and eliminating bias in all recruitment practices
- Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency-based and behavioral)
- Tech-Savvy with applicant tracking systems - Paylocity a plus
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
